OUR CULTURE

When you become a part of the BOLIM Family, we don’t call you a member, but rather, you become a DISCIPLE.  Yeshua instructs us in Matthew 28:19 to make disciples of all nations! In John 13:35, Yeshua (Jesus) said “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”  Walking in love in the BOLIM Congregation is a key focus because we understand that Elohim (God) is LOVE!

We are dedicated to returning to the covenant by observing the Sabbath as well as the other Appointed Times of YAHWEH (THE LORD) – Leviticus 23.  In this last and evil day, there is a mandate on this ministry to connect the Body Of Messiah to the Hebrew roots of our Faith in Yeshua.  One of the ways we will do this is by awakening and enlightening the Body of Messiah to the call of the Sons of Issachar who understood the times to know what Israel ought to do (I Chronicles 12:32). We know that as we align with the calendar of our Heavenly Father (as detailed in the Bible) we will clearly understand the present and future instructions for mobilization and advancement of the Kingdom of Elohim (God)!

Observing the Biblical Sabbath

Observing the Sabbath on Saturday is not a new idea.  This observance was carried out in scripture before, during, and after Yeshua’s (Jesus’) time here on earth.  In fact, Yeshua (Jesus) Himself and His Disciples observed the Sabbath as well as the other Appointed Times.  His issue was never with honoring what His Father had instructed to be done; rather, He always took issue with the additional of man’s teachings that sought to alter what His Father had instructed.  This is why He challenged the teachings of His day about subjects such as healing on the Sabbath because He wanted to uncover the purity of His Father’s requirements for the believer.  And even today, as disciples/followers of Yeshua (Jesus), that is our desire as well.

FEASTS Observation / The Appointed Times of YAHWEH (THE LORD)

Just as with the Sabbath, observing the Appointed Times of Yahweh (The Lord) is not something new but rather is something that has been observed.  This is part of the inheritance and the heritage of the believer that has been lost over time.  The Father’s desire is to connect with His people and draw them closer to Himself.  And as we study these Appointed Times we can see how they were designed for us to draw night to our Heavenly Father.  And surely His Word declares that if we draw nigh to Him He will draw night to us (James 4:8)

Following the Dietary Laws

In keeping with returning to the covenant the BOLIM Disciples are encouraged to follow the dietary laws as prescribed in Leviticus 11.  Yahweh’s (The Lord’s) plan for us to prosper and be in health (3 John 1:2) and following His dietary laws will help us to achieve that.
